Hey guys,

I installed a bleeder type MBC that I got from a friend. I installed it and works great BUT, it starts to creep after 4500RPM.

If I maintain the RPM under 4500 it stays at 14PSI solid. I just recently slapped on a RRE 2.5 DP, test pipe and a 3" apexi N1 catback. My o2 housing is still stock...im not sure if this could be the cause... my fingers are pointing the MBC.

Its frightning to see the needle go to 18-20PSI when I try to rev the motor to redline...Id like to maintain the boost levels where its set at.
what do you guys think?

also, theres a Greedy T that hooks the vaccum lines together... on one of the 3, theres a brass fitting..looks like a restrictor.. anyone have a clue as to what this is?

Thanks!

You should port the o2 housing to match the downpipe and it wouldnt hurt to port the outlet of the turbo and wastegate opening a little too. This is the most commen cause of boost creep. I think it should solve some of your creep problem. I dont think the MBC has anything to do with it. Just my 2cents:D

Thanks for the replies...

Do you think porting the o2 housing would be sufficient enough? or would I need to port the wastgate and go with a bigger flapper?

Im running a ported 14B. it seems to creep up to 18PSI max.
