Well, I've just recently had to buy a new ECU...
I had a socket installed on my board about a month ago, and when I put the chip in the socket and installed the ECU, all I could hear was a really fast clicking behind the dash/console. I imagine it's some sort of solenoid or relay clicking on and off. I still have the stock chip, and that one does the same thing. I'm thinking the guy that soldered it in messed up the board somehow, and it doesn't work. I called and inquired about it, and he said there was nothing he could do about it. Needless to say, I was furious with him and his company.
Anyway, is there anything I can do to fix/troubleshoot this problem? I've already ordered another ECU and it should be here in a day or so, but it's a non-eprom, so I would really like to maybe get this board working again, if possible. Any recommendations on what to do?
Figured I'd ask the pros
