Cold start question...

Whenever it's cold my engine starts up weird. It starts up right away(don't have to hold the starter longer than I normally do), but instantly the RPMs drop way low, and it takes a couple seconds for it to recover itself. It's as if it runs wayyy too rich or something, and it fixes itself. What would be causing this to happen?

i have the same problem... i start my car and the rpms are way down...sometimes it will shut of several times unless i give it gas...i will let you know if i find out anything...
