Ok, here is the deal. I rebiult the head on a 2G GS. I also has to replace the idler pulleys for the timing belt because when I opened the timing covers the bearing to the tensoner pulley fell out of the cover when I unbolted it (its scary actually. The pulley was the spinning on the bearing races). But anyways, I got it all together and it idles and runs like crap. I just cranked it for the first time about an hour ago. I checked the ecm for codes using the ignition key and it gave me a code 55. I guess its a code 55. It was 5 flashes, a pause, and then 5 more. I have tried to look it up, but I cant find anything about a code 55. A code 54 is the cam sensor which would make sense and explain the problem, but it said a 55. What is a code 55? Am I reading it correctly? LOL The timing is dead on. I havent checked it with a light, but the timing marks couldnt line up any better. I am planning on doing compression check, but I am tired of messing with the car tonight. I am pretty sure there is no leak in the head gasket though. Anyways, if anyone could tell me what a 55 is then I would greatly aprieciate it. Thanks.

Ah, I see. That makes sense. But if anyone cares. It was the cam sensor. I tested it today and it wasnt sending out any signal voltage, but it had power. So, I odered a new sensor and maybe it will run like it supposed to. Thanks-
