Well guys i just got my talon back from the mechanic, i had a new clutch put in. Every since then my car wants to die when i push the brakes or when i turn on an accesory like my headlights... I know my car needs a new battery but that wouldnt cause the car to want to die once it is already started and running. Anyone have any problems like this? I need some serious help, im stumped.!

Take it back to the clutch installer if it wasn't doing that before they worked on it.

Chances are they either mixed up some vacuum hoses or left some hoses or wires off. If they don't want to fix it and you know it wasn't that way before find a place who will fix what they screwd up identifying what was necessary to return to operating condition. Armed with that receipt and info you have the choice of going to the BAR or small claims court.

There are both hoses and wires which get in the way and should be removed when doing the clutch job but if they didn't pay attention and they were not marked it's easy to get them mixed up.

You could just look around to make sure there is nothing hanging loose especially under the intake manifold. However if you stick it back on and have different running conditions other than normal they may not want to honor any responsibility they had.

Cheers,
GTM
