[RESOLVED] engine stutter at low RPm's

Mr. Talon

i have a 90 talon n/t. with an intake, test pipe, and magnaflow muffler. my problem is that when i stomp on the throttle at low RPM's in any gear, it stutters and kidna misses, even if i'm sitting at an idle in neutral and step on it its stutters about twice realy quickly, then when the rpm's get higher (2000) its fine and smooth. i am going to check my timing this week. i know it is advanced, so maybe too advanced. i was also thinking that it may be due to not enought back pressure, but i know of cars with the same mods, and no problems. if it would help to get a sound clip of it stuttering at idle, let me know cuz i could get that for you. any help would be apprecieated. also, if it is timing, then what is the best amount to advance the timing by? and if it is a vacuum leak, doesn anyone have a diagram? thanx

but wouldn't that happend at all rpm's when i go WOT? its just at low rpm's, kinda like i don't have enough torque? my mods are stated above, woud a lack of backpressure be the problem?

actually, i just got back form checkin my plugs, wires. i regapped al my plugs to ,044 and checked the wires, and cleaned the ends where they atatch to the coil pack. i couldn't see or hear any spots where the wires were shorting. and i also noticed that in neutral, when the rpm's are held steady at any level, and then pin the throttle, the engine stutters about 7 times or so really wuickly (the rpms clmb a lil bit while this is happening, and then it comes alive and is fine. next i will check the timing, but any other suggestions? it stutters like 7 time within a 1/2sec. any help would be greatly appreciated.
