quick question about valves

3 of the 4 valves on my #1 cyl wont close. Could this be bent valves OR is it more likely something to with with the springs?

It's most likely bent valves. The spring tension is pretty friggin high. It'll shut them unless
somethings holding it open.

that is definitly bent valves.

Is the head off the car or on? Was the timing ok? It could be bent valves, but it also could be build up on the valve seats. More information would be needed though. If the head is off the car and the valves are all sticking pretty far out then it's definitely bent valves.
