I have a 96 Eclipse (2.0L N/T) 108K miles. about a month or so ago my car would just die and start back up right after, or it would attempt to die but i let off the gas and got back on it, the check engine light was on but it went off and the mechanics told me nothin was wrong but until now it has started doing it again more often when im fully on the throttle and from a stop... what could possibly b wrong? BTW im selling it, i just want to let the future buyer know what the possible problems could be.

Except for the problems at WOT it sounds like a vacuum leak to me, try spraying some starter fluid around in the engine bay in a light mist if the engine revs when your spraying anywhere but by the filter thats where the leak is, also you could hook up an obd2 logger if the short term fuel trim is outside of -10/10 this is a good indication of vacuum leak also.
