is it possible for a front o2 sensor to be going out and work for a couple of seconds then not then dump a bunch of fuel then not work and so on? I'm asking cause this seems to be what's happening. I origonally thought it was because i was not running a cat and i have a cel for fuel trim delivery bank 1. So i made an o2 simulator and installed it today problem still there; so then i changed ecu's problem still there, now the only other thing to do is change the front o2 sensor. I bought an o2 socket and i just can't seem to budge it. Any info would help thanks.

regardless how to get it off i'm not asking that i'm asking if the symptoms i'm having are from a failing o2 sensor

the car was working perfectly before a couple of weeks ago my gf left the lights on when she went to work and i had to use a jump box. now i have these issues

ok, there is only one definative way to check to see if your o2 is functioning. Get your self some t-pins, basically tacks but ones that litterally look like t's with a complete metal head. Probe the wires on the o2. now get your self a voltmeter and start the car. let it come to temp. check the voltage across the two probes and the reading you should get will be between .2 and .9 milivolts. if it just reads one solid reading between those two then your car is still in open loop and is up to temp. if your fan starts to cycle before the reading fluxuates between those two values then your o2 is probably bad. hopefully this helps you in some way
