boost issues???

Car will boost to 14-17 pounds after it gets to around 3pounds,
What can cause this issue. I checked the vacume hose from the wastegate.
So far thats the only thing I did. (stock motor,car sat for a wile,auto trans)

Nice mods........list them out and the boost will go up to 14-17 it thats were the boost controller it set at.

I'm not entirely sure I understand the issue here. What do you mean it'll boost to 14-17psi after it gets to 3psi? What is it doing in between? What's it doing before? Is it cutting out? Is it maintaining 14-17psi? Spiking? Surging?

We need some more information on the situation.

its spiking!!! driving down the road its fine until 3-5 pounds then it spikes all the way and stays continiously...

What gauge are you going off of and the boost should be about 12 psi stock. Are you useing a after market boost controller

NO EVERYTHING IS STOCK..
The gauge reeds past 14...

Get an aftermarket boost gauge. Install it. Report back the results.

and change you profile from alot of bolt on mods to none
