Ever since I got my car I noticed that the steering was a little "off". When turning the Steering wheel to the left it would do about two turns till it stopped. When turning steering wheel to the right it would do about three turns until it stopped. Well it still does the same only that now when I get to the point when the steering wheel should stop, if I push it a little further I can heat a loud snap, and the steering wheel will move a little further but the wheels wont move any further than they should. Anyone know what could cause that to happen?? thanks in advance

Sounds like the rack ben out before. Check your outer tie rods, after the jamb nut count the threds on the inner tie rod and see if they are close from LH side and RH side. That will see sterring wheel and rack were centered during install let us know and we'll go from there.
