My interior and exterior lights flicker when the car is running. When the car is off its fine. i think it might be alternator? but im not sure. i checked all the wiring except under the dash. The lights flicker faster with higher rpm and slower when low rpms. also noticed if i turn everything on(ac full blast, lights/highbeams,) the lights flicker so fast you can hardly noticed it but you can still see it. any ideas?

Thanks in advanced.

Flicker ? . Off and On ? Bright to dim ?

Off and On. like when you turn a light switch on and off really fast. and how would i change or fix the door switches? i assuming your talking about that little stupid switch that makes the car beep when the door is open with the keys in ignition.

Yep the stupid switch that makes the car beep! The switchs are held in with a screw very easy to take out and test. Here's how to do it!
Philips screw driver
DMM (digital multi meter) that has continuity testing
Step 1 Remove
2-Pull switch out and unhook
3-Use DMM to test for continuity
I think this is the way the switch works but it might be the other way around
(door open switch closed, door closed switch open) I think!
Your DMM should beep at you when you have continuity or read 0

Went to junkyard and got new/used door switches. Not the problem and more ideas? (switches were bad). How much volts should the car be running at when at idle. Mine run from 13.2 to 13.6. Sometimes if its been running for awhile and let it idle for awhile and turn it off. Then start it back up its about 14+ but under 15 volts. Sometimes it will run at 12 volts when running/driving. Alternator??
