london,
Ok so first of all i had my spark plugs and wires changed in my 92 talon turbo awd and as soon as that got finished i started smelling raw fuel coming from the exhaust. then while i was driving down the street warning lights on the dash came on
(battery, ABS, e-brake, turbo, a/t temp, and oil) the check engine.... seatbelt and others did not come on just the ones listed in brackets. then my guage backlights and headlights started to dim and all my power devices (windows , mirrors, stereo) stopped working but the car was still running normally so i took it home and when i went to shut off the lights they would not turn off...no matter what position the switch was in so i just disconnected the battery for the night. when i went out in the morning and re connected the battery the car started but the ABS light came on but i figured ...who cares all my power accesories are back so i went to leave the house and find out that when i touch the brakes the stereo dies and the windows dont work at all the power was cutting again so i pulled the car back in and shut it off. 20 min later i tried to start it to show my friend what was going on and all the car did was click it will not start. i checked the fuse. link box on the pos terminal and they are all fine...but my 100AMP ALT FUSE WAS BLOWN. so i changed it and it still just clicks please help

just thought i would add that the battery has been swapped with a new one and it still does not work all the fuses have been checked and they are good now and sometimes when i try to start it my alarm will go off even when i disarm it first and there is NO starter immobilizer on it so that cannot be the problem

yeah the battery is grounded fine but my car still thinks its a toaster so my buddy towed it into his work to check it out....its hard to test the electrical when the car wont run....i swear i heard it ask me "whats my name and wheres my lunch pail" LOL
