AWD problems and Belts

Well 1st of all i have gone through 3 serpentine belts, whenever i have them put on they just squeek, i have brought the car to 3 different places and no one can seem to find out why? And so i go with it squeeking (only when the car is just started) and it brakes a few months later?

Also when i got my belt changed just last week, i picked it up and the anti lock brake light was on? he brought it out for a test drive and it was off? from there on out it seems when ever i turn my car sharp the awd is not properly working it feels like it is binding up?

Check the crank pulley. When the rubber starts to deteriorate it allows the part the belt touches to move around and break belts. It is also famous for the "first starting up" squeal.

If it's not the crank pulley ^^^ check to make sure the water pump pulley was not put on backwards which gives a slight offset (sight down the belt from one pulley to the other) and wears belts.

Your alternator could have bearings going bad also. A belt that is'nt tight will break if it squeels long enough too, these belts have to be ridiculously tight sometimes.
