Well here I am again writting a thread about my starting problems. Well I have finnaly started fixing the problem. So I got a new starter (3rd one) and then all the wires needed for install, ie ground, power, and the other 2 connections one to the starter n the other i dunno. so it took all day to put it all back together. I was down to the final step, putting the terminal onto the batt. so just my luck it doesnt fit. so in frustration i hammer it in. thus creating the problem that the screw wont go in it. so once i rigged it for the screw to go in, i noticed that all my new connections work, but not the old one. the rings for the radio and lights dont fit onto the screw, because theyre to small. so my delima is, should I take out the power cable, n try to find one that fits, or buy a terminal that fits but that isnt connected to the power cable, or take all the cables out and buy the whole assembly from the dealership for $98.50? so please help me, I so sick of it, im lookn at honda :barf: . soo pleaase help.

sorry for the story

Let me get some clarification... you are trying to physically hook up the power lead to your battery and the lead clamp that does this is too small? The radio and lights you say that dont fit would be your external amp perhaps? Are you trying to fit more than what comes stock onto the positive battery terminal?

If that is the case I'm pretty sure you can buy oversized lead clamps. Let me know if I'm on the same track you are.

Yeah Im trying to hook up the lead power from the starter. It came with a bat connector on it. I am trying to hook up to more things to the terminal, that werent on the old one. all the new connectors fit onto the bolt, but the old ones dont. it looks like i have to get a new power cable from the starter to the bat, which i really dont wanna do.

Ok so I got all the wires connected along with the new starter. I turnd the key and it would barely turn over. it sounded really weird, kinda high pitched. and then when i tried to do it again, the damn thang clicked. which is the reason i changed the whole thing for the third time. There has to be something tearin up my starters, i am sick of lookn at my car on a jack, please help.
