Hi

I just recently added greddy upper intercooler piping with a greddy type S BOV, and now my car has boost problems. When I accelerate at aboult 2500rpm, the boost flys all the way up to like 20 psi and my car keeps trying to stall. (If I had a boost leak, wouldn't there be a loss of power?!?)

Could it be the BOV? (the adjustable bolt on the top was all the way down, and the car flet like someone tied an anchor to it, but when I loosened it, it now has uncontrollable boost. There doesn't seem to be middle ground no matter where I put the bolt. There is also a line on the back of the BOV, should I plug it?

Ok, this is probably the stupidest question ever (Where does the "Y" shaped splitter go?) When I upgraded to a 16g one of the lines to the turbo was ommited.

it is probably something stupid I'm overlooking

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Your problem is most likely the places that you spliced the lines running to the BOV.

The top one should be the one that runs to your intake manifold, and the bottom one should either be disconnected, or routed directly to a pressure source.(NOT spliced into another line)

You also want to adjust this BOV so that you don't get any "fluttering."(compressor surge)

thanks , yeah it is compressor surge. I might put back the crap stock BOV untill I can fix it.

Did you try a different way of splicing the vacuum lines?

I had the same problem until I fixed how my vacuum lines were spliced.

Also, the screw looks to be almost completely backed out on mine. Just loosen it until you get rid of the compressor surge.

first off you should update your profile with a list of your mods to me it sounds like you have removed your bcs restrictor from your stock electronic boost controller. since your stock blowoff valve leaked at about 12psi. you had no problems but the new blowoff valve wont leak that easily so your boost will go crazy get a manual boost controller or make your own i think there is a DIY thread on it.
