check engine light came on today, i pluged my diablo into it to read the code but it says no code, the light isnt on when the car is on acs but when it starts it turns on. this is on a 96 eclipse any reason why my obdII wont read the code

could be a number of things, do you have a logger? if not thats what i would get. Also go to like autozone or something like that, they have obd2 readers that can pull the code pretty quick.

And one reason it may not read is a bad connection. Or wrong software on the reader.
