up until just a few days ago i had been running my car without a cat and just three inch piping back. well now i got a three inch hi flow cat so that i can pass emissions and now when i turn on my car the check engine light stays on. well after the car warms up a bit if i turn off my car and turn it back on again it goes away. once i park it again and then turn it on though the same problem occurs. anyone got any ideas as to what this could be?

More than likely a faulty oxygen sensor, but I would pull the code first. If theres an Autozone around they do it for free.;)

i wanted to but last time i went there they said that my car is too old for their scanner. and i replaced the o2 sensor about five months back
