I am driving down broadway when all the sudden... my power cuts out, just the interior power, the headlights blinkers and engine still worked fine. The automatic seatbealts, interior lights, power windows and locks, stereo do not work. Im not sure why this is but the problem leading to this is ive replaced 2 alternators in the past 3 months. When the alternator goes bad the positive post on it is burnt to a crisp. Does anyone have any idea what is goin on or have had this happen to them in the past, any and all advice would help. Thank you, Wade

Sorry for the LONG delay in my reply but what i found is that the alt. fuse was popped. What would cause it to fry 3 alternators and 2 batterys and a fuse on this last time.?? could it be bad grounding? If so would a grounding kit fix it??

I had the same fuse blow on me, and I just replaced it and never had a problem again. If you continue to have problems you may want to do alot of wire chasing and figure out where your problem is.
