OK this one I know it for sure, and i've seen that many ppl are still posting and asking abt it!
!!!!!!WHITE SMOKE WITH A SWEET SMELL IS ALWAYS AND FOREVER COOLANT!!!!!!!!!
Reading most of the posts I deduct that everybody was driving the car hard when it happened!
1.Blown Head Gasket!!
2.Cracked Head!!(Outch!!)
What hapens is that the HG gets swolen up and coolant flows into the combustion chamber=> loss of power+NO BOOST+engine rattle+Tonz of WHITE SMOKE!! and the worst thing is if u don't turn of the engine ASAP when u can feel it comming

then u will end up loking the engine...and end up to a costly rebuild!+you might kill the Turbo also!
!!!!!!DARK BLUE/BLACK SMOKE IS ALWAYS A PISTON RING AND/OR A BAD TURBO!!!!!!
So you got TONZ of blue/dark smoke comming out of your exhaust??
1.If the answer is YES+ the boost gauge reads 0(not at idlle of course)...bye bye TURBO for sure!!!!(oil gets in the IC piping from turbo->intake->combustion chamber)
2. If the oil presure gets low+you get dark blue/black smoke there goes the piston ring.
PS: Don't worry abt the dark blue/black smoke if you have a Diesel DSM!!!

JOKIN!

UP!
