I have an Evo3 GT, full exhaust mods with no cat, brand new 02 sensor, walbro 255, 650cc injectors, SAFC II and a Aeromotive AFPR with under hood gauge.

When the car is driven under high throttle, it sputters at high RPMs. I had a broken injector oring, but I fixed that today and the problem persists. I have no boost leaks (checked after reinstalling the injectors), new spark plugs, and new plug wires. Car still has a very infrequent miss.

I did notice on my under hood FP gauge that under throttle (pulling the throttle cable while not in gear) the fuel pressure would dip sometimes when it gets in the higher RPMs. FP is set to around 45/46 with the vacuum hose ON. Base timing is set to stock and so is idle.

Overall, the fuel pressure seems to be inconsistent under load. Do you think a pump rewire would solve the problem?
