Please Help

hello, i currently bought a 95 RS & it burns oil & smokes out the tail pipe after it has been running for 10 minutes or so. i seems to run ok except the smoke screen, im just woundering if any of you might have an idea of what the problem might be? PLEASE HELP

What color is the smoke. If its blue then its probably from youre rings or really bad valve stem seals. If its white then youre burning coolant, then its from youre head gasket.

would that also cause the oils to burn f it is the rings?

I would bet on the rings, but you could have a bad headgasket. I would plan on
replacing the rings and you will be doing the headgasket in the process. There is also a list of other 'might as well do' items if you do a quick search.

thanks, i bought the car for 500$ so i dont expect too much out of it
