Well this past week I took my car in to get a in between dyno run to see just what I needed to go from where I am now.On the 2nd pull at about 18 lbs @ 5.8-6K it seemed to hit fuel cut , or something as I have never hit fuel cut before on this car , or it just leaned out and melted the electrode on # 2 plug , # 1 plug and lost part of the porcelain on # 1 plug. Now on the first pull it was let out at 5.6 k because the EGT gauge was buried so I guess it was at 1700 deg.????I let the car cool down and bumped the fuel pressure up a bit thinking it might help , but I left the boost alone @ 18 psi.Once again EGT went sky high and I was running lean obviously , then it sputtered and started misfiring.Well , I limped it home , let it cool off , pulled the plugs thats when I found the damage.I thread chased the # 1 plug hole , gaped a new set of plugs then let it run.Seemed OK , there was no piston damage that I could see and temps were in line with where they should be. The problem now is that anything 5.5K and up it feels like fuel cut , but this car never cut before.and I have it turned down to 16 psi , there is just nothing going on past 5.5 K.
I am absolutely perplexed as to why its doing this.

SO I can limit the obvious questions ,
1993 laser turbo , 14b , tube header , ported hotside & 2g o2 hsg , Hallman MBC, 255 lph walbro , ADJ FPR , 450cc , 3" turbo back ,upper and lower I.C. hard pipes. There is no sort of tuning device yet , have a AFC on the way but thats it so far.

Have you checked/eliminated all boost leaks?

I'd also do a compression test jsut to make sure nothing was damaged (valves/pistons) from all that detonation. Parts of your plugs may still be in the cyls creating hotspots :dsm:

What did you bump the fuel pressure up to?
With the mods you have you should be at 37.5 without vacuum line

Well , I performed a leak test , none found.I guess thats why I am puzzled.I set my fuel pressure @ 38 psi without the vacume line , I have yet to do a compression test , but I know I should.I think I will tomorrow , I just gotta get the tools required to do one.
