I'm new to dsm's so I decided to do the stage 0 upgrades or free mods that I found on this site. I did a few of them including hack the maf sensor. I took out the silencer and took out the lower screen, since then, when I let the car site and idle, it seems a little weak. when I drive and then come to a stop, it wants to shut off if not completely shutoff. I figured vacuum leak but i checked all of the vacuum lines and came up empty. I also cut the front of the aircan and took the snorkel off for more air... all you dsm guys who've donethis, please help me out. :talon:

One of the guys that works for me did the same thing to his. He wound up replacing the maf to get his idle back. If you change too much on the Karman Vortex MAF it will act up creating idling problems. Usually idle hunting. You may cure this by purchasing an Apexi safc II and recalibrating your idle parameters. That honeycomb actually straightens the air charge in the maf so the "vorticles" are accurately counted. In laymans terms, be careful of your mods. Some cars for whatever reason are unaffected. Others do not respond kindly. I just happened to have a spare MAF to give him. LOL Good Luck

thank you I figured that's what it was but I really hate idle hunting! :talon:
