Ok. My car was doin somethin stupid where it was running fine, then it started acting weird by the rpm guage started jumping all over the place, turning off, going to 10k, and whatever else inbetween and while the guage was doing that my car was running on half horse power. DSMLink said I was doing 2k rpm, which had to be true. Well then the car wouldnt start so I had it towed back. A couple friends suggested boost leak. Well thats impossible but I checked and there are none, another said bad alternator, I replaced that and it didnt do a damn thing. So I jiggled wires near the injectors and started the car and it started fine. I drove it for like 50 miles and it ran just fine.

I went to a wedding and came back 6 hours later and my rear pass. tail light was on and the spoiler light was on and my battery is dead.

My headlights were not on, and the brake was not pressed.

What the F*K could cause this!?!?!? *sigh* :barf: :barf:

This has got to be an electrical problem. I had a similar one. I replaced the alternator; no help. I replaced the battery; fixed it for a while. I replaced the battery again and replaced all the ground wires/straps. Viola! Everything is fine and dandy. Corrosion on battery terminals and crimped connectors will cause all sorts of havoc.

Hope this helps. Electrical problems are a PITA.

Found out why 2 of the brake lights were on instead of all three. The driver side light is out. But also found this out:

Know where the clutch pedal is? Know those two white connectors that connect onto the end of the clutch pedal. Well one of those had a wire w/ a connector on each end looping into one of the two connectors, and the other connector was plugged into the clutch pedal. I undid those two and it was fine again.

WTF? :talon: > me
