Muffler welding...

Allright, I hope this is the right forum...I'm trying...my friend bought a new muffler for his car (Saturn), and he put it on himself using J.B. Weld. He's offered to put a new muffler on my car for me, using the same method, but I'm not too sure about it, has anyone else tried that? Does it last? Oh, and I do have a hole in my muffler, so I need a new one. Thanks.

UMMM...that doesnt sound like a good idea spend the 80-100 bucks and get it welded on

yeah dont do that it probably wont last besides its easy to break off just get it welded on
