Pocketlogger- no connection- CEL code checker no connection

I just put a new engine in my car, just another 7-bolt so same motor and all that. Only thing that was different when i went back together with it was that i put a maf-t on it. Now that I have it all back together and everything my pocketlogger is not getting a connection to the ecu and I also have the computer thing to check the check engine codes with on cars and it wont connect either. Before the swap and putting in the maft it all worked fine. Any ideas on why it might not be getting a connection? Some type of fuse or something? My afc is getting a connection fine and i can make adjustments with it and everything. any help would be great

Make sure data link connector (OBD2) pin 16 is +12V (goes thru 10A fuse in left kick panel - 2nd from right middle row), and pins 4 & 5 connect to ground. Connector is 16 pin with pin 1 upper left (increasing across), pin 16 lower right.

note for anyone else that has this problem and stumbles upon this thread, also check the radio fuse in the fuse box under the hood, thats where my problem was.
