well guys i am going to do some massive work this weekend, instead of installing my white interior,i am going to find the problem with my car, well here is my Problem, and i am going to need your help,i was reading the 1000 dsm faqs page, and i was reading the section where it talked about "my boost isn't strong enough.is there a fix'?well since i have had my car,i noticed it wasn't right,i notice it felt under power,i got my gauges and notice i was only pushing 8 PSI,and vac at 15-16,lately i have notice that it has gone down to 6PSI and VAC at 10-11, i did a boost leak tester and tested my turbo,i can't get it passed 1 psi with a 50 gallon compresser, i didn't hear anything, all i heard was air just going threw, and i heard how ppl would push it up to 15 psi and it wouldn't leak.well what i wanna know is, will the pressure just hold,or will it just passed threw the engine,i am going to check my wastegauge to check if it is open all the time, also i read on the Faqs paged that changing the MAF would effected my PSI,i had to change my MAF after mine went bad,and changed it with a 97-99(one of those years) auto Spyder MAF that i gpt for free, could that be it? what can i do about it? do i go buy a 96 MAF? can some one help me out with all my question,or will someone allow me to PM them with some Question about my car? thanks guys sorry it's so long, just a big problem that i am trying to fix-Andy

take the spark plugs out, turn the wheels all the way to the left, then look inside the wheel well, you will see a hole that leads to the center of the crank pulley. With a 1/4" ratchet and long extension (fits right in the center of the crank pulley) turn the motor over (clockwise) untill #1 cylinder is at top dead center. Then put all your plugs back in and try the boost test again. Mine was doing the same as yours, my boost gauge wasn't even moving when i started to pressurie the system, after I turned it to TDC i could put 20psi into it.
