I finaly have a data logger and find that I am throwing a few codes. Most are becuase a friend convinced me what a great idea it would be to remove all my emission controll junk. Concequentaly I'm constantly having to delet the codes becuase on of them is causeing the car to have problem in that the timing will not advance, or the car sputters, even thretens to die. I beleive that it is this code:

P1105 Open or shorted condition detected in the baro read solenoid control circuit

On another error code device that someone else I know has it came up as and Air flow metering problem

Can someone tell me where this solenoid is located so I can check it. Or was this one of the things that were removed during the EGR removal?

Sounds like your MAF is bad, unplugged or shorted. This is the black box that is connected to your air filter.

Both of those codes are related to the one unit. The barometric pressure sensor is part of the MAF.

The funny thing is I just switched to a maft blow through system. I was getting the code before I installed the system and now I'm still getting the code. I know becuase I keep having to delete it.
