Hey guys i gotta 1993 plymouth laser turbo fwd....the current mods are K&N, downpipe, cat delete pipe, turbo xs boost controller and a boost guage....I did a full tune up on the car except 02 sensor and fuel filter (which im doing tomorrow which im also hoping is my problem) ....OK well heres my problem....il be driving in 2nd or 3rd no matter what....floor the gas boost reads 12lbs just as it should....pulls good till about 4200rpms...where it jus falls flat on its face..rpms go up slowly car isnt pulling...The car was running great 1 week ago when i did the downpipe install....then out of nowhere it just started to not pull in these gears. Im hoping its the fuel filter...or possible boost leak...what do u guys think?

guys i just went ahead and changed the fuel filter....i dunno wuts worse to do a fuel filter change or put in prothane motor mounts....man was there alot of cursing going on inbetween...anywayz im still having the same problem...i think im gonna go ahead and buy a boostpro.net boost leak checker and c wuts up..

like to much of a hassle....id rather spend 16 bucks on a piece with a guage already on it...that wont fail me in the future :thumb:

Yeah, I had the same problem with my friend's car on Friday. Lucky I didn't have to think about it for very long because I blew the headgasket in it :) LOL

I seemed like a fuel cut to me though. I didn't really get to troubleshoot it since I had to replace the headgasket.

guys i went outside and tightened up the clamps on the IC pipes and it pulled stronger :thumb: I still feel it tho at certainm rpms around 4700 it will die then pick back up at around 5200....for the most part tho it feels alot better...still got a weird feeling to it tho...maybe its leaking somewhere else....il let u guyz know wuts up with it....
