I just bought a 93 Talon and the end of the pcv valve hose is not hooked up to anything. Can someone show me or tell me where it hooks into? I thought it went into the intake but I don't see a place for it.

Thanks

The PCV goes to the intake manifold. There is a short hose that attaches the fitting from the intake to the PCV. And yes you need this hooked up or the motor will run like shit.

I run a gutted PCV and my car runs very well without it hooked up thank you.

Any pics?
I don't see where on the intake it goes into.

There is a vacume nipple on the underside of the #4 intake runner. I assume yours is capped with a plug?

Yes, the previous owner probably gutted the pcv valve or replaced it with a straight fitting, well lets hope so. :) move about 3 in towards the firewall from where the pcv valve is and look straight down, You should find a nipple with a cap on it. If so, you're fine but I would look into getting a catch can so you can keep your engine bay clean.

Just want to make sure you don't have the PCV mixed up with the breather hose. The PCV points towards the firewall. The valve cover breather points toward the passenger side wheel and connects to your intake pipe.

I replaced my PCV valve with a fitting, ran both the PCV and breather hose to a catch can as well. Think about what all the guys do that run SMIM.

Found it guys. It is capped already.
But on my way to work today my transfer case locked up on me. Wow that was scary. I did a search and found out how common this is. I hope the dealer replaces it for free. I was beginning to have fun with this car.
