Ok so I recently put in v2 and a maft and the car is now having issues. It seems to idle fine and doesnt throw a check engine light, it even runs pretty well out of boost, however, with the onset of boost (anything above 2psi) it goes rich, very very rich. Rich to the point where it drops off my wideband's scale and it just says "rich" and the car stutters hard.
Right now I have everything on the maft turned to 0 and everything on the dip switch set to off, except for #2 because i have a 2G. V2's base settings are for 660's,(the injectors I have) so I havent really changed anything on v2 yet, just trying to get it to run before I really start to re-tune it.
On a side note, I haven't hooked up the clutch-cut wire yet, but I doubt that would cause such a problem.
So does this sound like a maft problem or a v2 problem, or a combination of the 2. Heres a few details: MAFT is v. 2.01, 3' maf, Denso 660's, and DSMlink V2.
Thanx

When I installed my maft, i zeroed out all my fuel settings on the dsmlink. The initial result was as you said my plxwb02 was tellin me 10's and RICH. Make sure you set the base and aux to your version and "stock" injector size so that the maft doesnt make any changes. I have a 1g so my maft is set to AUX 0 and Base 2 (450cc injectors even tho i have 550's in it now) I think, its in the back of the manual for the maft, it has a table. I think urs is like AUX 1 and Base 2 for 2g 450cc injectors. DOUBLE CHECK THAT. But leave everything else zero'd out on the maft.

Anyway, all you gotta do is take away some fuel with the dsmlink and you'll be set, just keep an eye on the wideband. HTH

P.S. - under "airflow" in the dsmlink, a good base setting for MAFT users to have is starting from the very left slider (50hz) do +8, +4, +2, +1, 0, -2, -4, -6, -8 going to the very right slider (2400hz).

Adjust the 50hz slider to accomodate ur idle and idle a/f ratio. + makes it richer, and - being more lean. Lemme know if you have any questions.

No, no, and no. If your dipswitch settings for the MAFT are 0100, you're telling the MAF that you're running an 85mm MAF, which is probably going to be a big problem. Set all of the dip switches to OFF unless you have a 3.5" MAF, then #1 is set to ON. Now put the AUX switch on 4 and the BASE switch on 2. You're ready to start tuning using DSMLink. I have this combination as well. I used only airflow to tune it as of now. I personally needed quite a bit of airflow to get it to idle well. I have my 50Hz slider at around 25% I believe. Then my 150Hz is a bit lower, around 10% I think. You can set these in your drive way just by using the gas to stabilize the Hz (log MAFRaw, STFT, LTFT Lo). For 250 you'll have to take a drive to stabilize the LTFT Mid values before you can compensate. For 400 on up I just zeroed it out, went for a run, and logged it. It turned out that at 0% correction I was running pig rich. You'll have to play around with that though.
