91 eclipse gst shaking

Things you should know: it's all stock, turbo is not hooked up due to bad wastegate. A weird shake or stutter starts after i accelerate past 2k rpm. Now if I easy up and stay at 2.5K rpm there is no shaking, so its only while accelerating. Also while idling it stays at about 800rpm and runs rough somtimes going down to 500rpm and almsot stalling. Unfortunately I don't have any diagnostic equipment available to me. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Update: Today I changed the plugs and it helped a bit, but definetly didn't fix the problem. The old plugs were coated w/ carbon. Now there is some squeeking fron the power steering/alternator area and I'm beginning to wonder if it may be the CS pulley. Are there any definate signs? I'm not sure whether to throw in some new plug wires as well or what. I'm not the most experienced mechanic and not really sittin fat in the pocket at the moment so any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
