Problem Starting

well I posted a thread about a week ago the problem I was having was the car wouldn't start right away, if I came home from a good drive and turned it off then wanted to start it, the car would crank crank crank over, I kinda would have to pump the gas... and yes I know not what should happen with a fuel injected car, so anyway i'm pretty possitive that its the fuel pressure regulator, I noticed that if I leave the key in the acc. or on position the car will not start, even if it does have time to sit... could this be due to a fuse or relay? I don't know if this happens all the time but just a while ago when I turned the car off and pulled the key out I heard something flicker by the interior fuse box...btw cars a 96 GST 6-bolt 1G head, so what do you guys think it could be?

check this out, i kind of had the same problems and followed this and also changed the fuel filter, but instead of replacing the vac lines i just eliminated them. http://www.dsm.org/how-tos/JFM/HotStart.html. but it could also be many other things, maybe ECU, but try that first it isnt hard and then try the more expenssive stuff.
