Which ECU?

I just picked up a 93 Eclipse project that used to have the 1.8 in it, but now someone has swapped a EVO 3 motor into it, and had the wiring harness professionally wired for the car. The problem is, it doesn't have an ECU, which ecu should I use for this, I don't want standalone, or anything exspensive. Anyone know which ECU should work? I don't feel like speniding 100 bucks each time guessing and checking hoping not to fry something.

my opinion is ask the people that did the wiring because how are we going to know what type of connectors they used and intended the setup to use. Are they DSM ECU connectors?
