Angry Nuetral Safety switch

Ok, from what ive gathered on this site and on vfaq, in order for the car to start after doing a auto-stick swap you have to bypass the nuetral safety switch. 1g has a long rectangular plug and 2g has a kind of egg shaped plug. On both of them the 2 larger black w/ yellow stripe wire are supposed to be connected and everything is supposed to work. Well Ive done this and I still get nothing from the starter. No click, nothin!! What else could i have to look at that might need to be modified. Are there any fuses that might be blown or anything like that? Also is it possible to jump the starter solenoid like on an old ford to get it to start? i would at least like to make sure the starter works. Someone PLEEEEEZ HELP, my project is complete and now its time to start it and tune it. Thanx alot to anyone who can help me decipher this problem.
