Edmonton,
I just installed a JDM engine into my 92 talon, and I have to problems.

1st No oil pressure. The guage is as low as it goes and the oil light flashes. Both wires by the oil filter are well connected. What is the output voltage suposed to be? At idel and normal op for both.

What do reg DSMs show for pressure at idel?

2nd I have one electric connection unconnected. Its behind the manifold coming off the main harness. There are two that come off back there, one connects to the connector coming from a frost plug, the other I cant figure out. Could someone please take a quick look!! I dont think this connector is causing prob. 1, but maybe.

Please help me, I wanna drive my turbo car.

Could it be the plug for your AC?

My 2g idles around 25 psi and goes as high as 100 driving it cold.
Do you have the stock oil pressure guage or aftermarket?

Its the plug before the ac hookups. Not the coil hookup either.

The connector looks the same as the the one that hooks up to the frost plug connector. But has two locking tabs instead of one. Both are two wire hookups.

I believe that is for the tachometer, there should be a supporting bracket bolted onto the back on the intake and to the block with a tachometer attached but, i'm not familiar with the JDM engines and not sure where if they are the same.

Its not for the tachometer. The "frost plug connector" you are referring to is your knock sensor. It doesn't connect to a frost plug, in screws into your block as shown below.

The other connector you are referring to is the 1G EGR temperature connector. It is only used on California emissions cars. If your car is not a California car, then leave it unconnected.
