I have a broken brake line (one of the hard pipes broke  ). Has anyone ever had this problem, and if so, what did you do to fix it. I think the only thing I can do is go to a junk yard and attempt to find it. But if there is another way to fix it I would like to know.

How the hell...

Anyways, you can get lengths of pre-flared, pre-nutted brake line at auto shops. Depending on where it "broke" you may be able to splice-in a section with a flaring tool and a couple of ...ah... couplings. And you may find it's much more worthwhile to pay a brake shop to do it- nothing like Midas, but a real auto electric & brake shop. There's bound to be a few in your area.

Well I did that, but I found that the flaring tool wouln't fit where it matters most. I just bought a 60" line and I will start the tap somewhere else. Thanks for the help, I'll post my results here.
