when i start my car after its been sitting for awhile. like in the morning. i have to give it gas alot to get it started. then after its started it will idle high at like 1.5 then if i start to go and hit the gas the idle will just drop to like .5 or even die out. i have to just keep giving it gas and eventually it will stop doing it. and it wont do it no more after that when the engine is warm. so i dont really know what it is. has anybody had this happen or could give me some advice. thanks. :talon:

Likely a bad ISC (or one that's gummed up). I'd also check to make sure your Base timing and Idle speed are correct and that you done't have any boost/vacume leaks (i.e all vac hoses off the TB are connected).

Heh, mine has been ####in up like that too just recently. Like today i drove to my school campus and everytime i would drive and put it in neutral it would drop all the way to the point of the car almost dieing(which it has died a few times already). Well i hope you get your problem fixed :thumb: , i still got plenty of work to do on mine :thumbdown
