Okay, my n/a is running extremely weird. It will run, and it will act okay as long as I'm accelerating, however if I let it idle it will surge up and down and throw a check engine light, till I tap the gas at which point the light will go off till it idles for a few sec. it only does this occasionally, however the problem is constant, it will feel like it's getting power then not over and over and over. And if I rev it up slow, it will have a really weird rev rev rev pattern to it, as in it's not consistant at all, what's goin on guys?

No one has any ideas here? It also will make the car shake very violently when trying to accelerated from a low rpm, like under 2.5k

Yes, that is what I'm trying to describe, I swear I'm not car illiterate, I've been working on them forever, I just couldn't for the life of my think of it when I was writing this. As for the check engine light, I haven't been able to check it out yet, I just use a little LED to do it and count how many times it blinks and what not, and I have been really busy and it seems like each time I have time to check it, it wont spit out the code... so I'll try and get a reading on that, but what kind of thing would set off the check engine light at idle only, and make the car jerk like that?

If the code doesn't stay in the ECU, you are having problems with keeping power to it. The codes should stay in there for a while. If you are loosing power to the ecu, there is a good possibility you are having the ever so famous leaking capacitors.
