I just installed a 2g mas on my car. Went for a drive and the AFC has the Karmans at 3 the whole time, with the car running.

Any idea what this is caused by?

Is this a wiring issue?

Thanks for the help.

No CEL? Was it reading 3 before the mas swap?

I have a CEL but I have had it for months now from EGR. I will try to get my hands on a logger to see if theres anything new.

Before the swap it would read karmans with the 1g MAS.

Could mabye a connection be bad inside one of the butt connectors? Should I try to redo them?

Do you think there is a problem with the MAS, or does it sound like more of a wiring issue?

The car idles fine and seems to run fine besides the horrible tuning. (+20 across for low settings, getting injectors next week)

I would deffinetly try to get a hold of a logger and check for codes. If you have it wired up wrong it will throw a CEL. Could also be a bad mas or a bad connection. Wont hurt to double check the connections but the sure way to tell will be with a logger.

I cut off the butt connectors and soldered all of the connections. All works good now.
