I just installed a ACT 2600 clutch in my 93 gsx and in 1st and reverse it was griding. It was doing this before i put the clutch in. I adjusted the shaft on the master cylinder and the problem lessend but the peddle feels very soft and i know that with that clutch it is supose to feel very stiff, but why does the peddle feel spongy or not there. What ever you can tell me will help thanks, Adam Collins

what year car, sounds like clutch master cylinder might need to be rebuilt.but i dont know what year car u have.

Sounds like you may need to bleed the master cylinder and clutch slave cylinder. Soft mushy fell usually indicates air in the lines.
