ill first start off by saying that when i first start my car when it is cold it will start and then die a couple of seconds later. then ill try again almost instantly and it starts fine.i also feel a little bit of hesistation with the gas until it gets warm. then its fine. just today i was cruising around in third gear and floored it. my boost controller is set at 17 psi and when it hit 17psi at about 5500 rpm my car feels like its holding back and it sounds like its backfireing. i was told to change my plugs and get the bpr7es and the 02 sensor. n e ideas? im kinda lost on this one.

thanx for the info. ill go try that tonight. now that you mention it i am missing one nut on my exhaust mani(you know the one closest to the alternator)
