I have a 95 gs-t that stalls like the fuel has been cut once the engine reaches 6k rpm. The car is all stock except for the plugs and wires. Is this normal for a stock eclipse or should I look into it more. Any ideas?

possible cause:

- fuel pressure regulator failing.

- If you are running more than 14 psi on the stock pump and injectors you will experience fuel cut

- If at 6k rpm the car cuts off completely, look into your ignition system.

Mine does that at 4000rpm...was told turbo not keeping up...car drives great untill 4000k my #4 plug shows a little carbon on the ring of the plug...I have to replace all of the esenstials on it as well ...read my thread... go under fixmy97gst

Everything on my 95 gs-t is stock except for the plugs and wires. I am not really sure on how much psi is run on a stock setup although I guess it is somewhere around 10 psi.

If the problem is the fuel pressure how would I test it and how would I know if it is the turbo?
