Plz help before paint work

okay im tryin to figure out something so simple that more than half of u guys will laugh at me so w/e ...but anyways i have a 97 eclipse gsx and im tryin to do something with the back lights. I want to put a middle piece in instead of having 1 whole light if u dont know what im tryin to say then just look at the picture that im gonna upload...... plz help if u know how i do it and were to order part iwould appreciate it

Just paint the middle piece then it will look like that car. I think that is your answer, or not.

u think that would work and the paint and stuff wouldnt come off and would i have to take the bulbs out of the middle piece that im painting so that the red light wont show through the silver paint?

That is how everyone else and I did it. Just take it off and bring it to a body shop becuase they can do better paint matching than just trying to match from Wal-Mart paint. I took mine to a body shop and it came out great. Later

just a question any one painted and lfet the lights in and it shown through? i thinkit might be kinda neat, a custom look ya know?

Just paint the center piece not the part with the bulbs.
