Well I just took my car to get it inspected and I failed the Emissions Bad. Anybody know what is wrong and how to test the 02 sensor and such to make sure it works? I also have a high flow cat instead of the stock. Maybe that has something to do with it?

I took a picture of what I failed right here. Here is the High Speed Emissions Results and the Low Speed Emissions Results are below.

Try to find someone who has a DSM-link or a pocket-logger for a 2g..With that..You'll be able to tell if your 02 sensor is reading voltage correctly and responding to throttle..When was the last time you did a tune-up...Plugs, Wires, PCV, the whole works..I've heard of people getting a simple tuneup and then passing emissions...Either way..Good luck man!!

What does your A/F gauge show? You should drive the car AT LEAST for 15-25 minutes BEFORE you pull into the testing facility (to warm up the catalytic converter--catalytic converters are meant to work when hot). Have you tried turning down the boost to stock levels?

My guess would be the hi-flo cat, some people say they aren't THAT much better than a test pipe. But all not lost, thanks to alcohol (The guaranteed-to-pass stuff at your local autostore). That has helped me many times :p

What do you mean alcohol? What kind? Also someone suggested putting my stock cat back on then putting $10 worth of regular gas in it then driving the car real hard to get it hot then take it straight there and it should pass.

Oh, and also the last time I did plugs and wires was in January. I'm running the Accel wires w/ the 7's

Well, at my local Pep-Boys, they sell this "Guaranteed to Pass" stuff that you pour in your gas tank, unfortunately I forget the exact name. But I'm sure if you ask them they know what your talking about. Anyway, drive till ur tank is down to 1/8 or so (pretty low), then pour in a bottle and drive it HARD right to the testing station. That should do it, if not, then I guess you gotta swap the stock cat back in.

Well I'll go ahead and swap the cat out then I'll go look for the stuff at AutoZone. And my gas tank is about empty, I need to go get some anyway so this will be a good time for me to put some of that in. Should I go ahead and put the 93 octane in, or get regular?

Why are you asking if 93 or regular? Turbo cars require 93. It says so on your dash "premium unleaded only".

Yes I know that, but like I said above in one of my other posts somebody suggested putting in regular gas and driving it real hard and taking it straight there.
