Help Quick!

Ok, Now that I've got your attention, the shop that's installing my clutch just called, and says that the passenger side axle is stripped on the part that goes into the wheel hub. He said that I could just get a new axle and be fine, what else should I get to make sure it doesn't happen again? Or could this possibly be an indicator of larger problems?

and great....now the ABS sensor is stuck in there good and tight...hooray for me! factory only parts...here I come.
