toronto,
hey guys,
i just finally got my boost gauge installed, but as soon as i did that now my CHECK ENGINE LIGHT is on. i accidentally had my FPR hose unwired so i tee everything in vacuum into the boost gauge. the light comes on after i drive for like 2-3 minutes, i resetted the battery but the same thing happened. Another thing that also happened was that my idle started going crazy the rpm from 1started going to 1.5 and vice versa. i adjusted the BISS screw and it stopped it but now when you drive and pull out of gear the car's REV goes too low and the car turns off....i swear this car is pissing me off... someone help me please....

The car dies because you turned the idle down too low, the car revs too high becuase of a vac leak or the throttle closed sensor is bad or the idle air control motor is bad. Get a scan tool and find out the codes, that will more than likely tell you your problem. Hope its not an idle air control motor 200~300 bux new OMG If it is the idle motor just look for one at a decent auto salvage yard, make sure they will talke it back if it dont work.
