Idle problem

Last few days my car has been idling rough (around 700). It's also been known to die when it feels like it, although recently it's been doing it more often. This happens mostly at low speeds w/ the clutch in, stoplights and such. It's doing some crazy stuff today. It will idle fine then pulsate from 400-600 3 or 4 times before finally it dies. When this happened the logger showed -3 timing and 22 counts of knock! Fuel pump is still chuggin along. I have 1 known vacuum leak. I know some of you guys have encountered this. Start w/ the biss o-ring? Any educated guesses?

Another q, ISC supposed to pull 40-50 steps at speed? I'd appreciate any help guys!

Try adjusting your idle back to ~750 RPMs (http://www.vfaq.com/mods/BISS-1G.html), see if that clears up your problems. Next, test out your ISC (http://dmtalon.v8eaters.com/ISC.html). I think it is the ISC, from what I read on that page it looks like thats your problem (push in clutch and idle goes below 750 and stalls/almost stalls). Good luck!
