Bay Area,
My other car, the 1st gen eclipse had a bad tranny in it. Today i replaced the transmission, and i have a good clutch still and lubed the throw out bearing and also the fork is still good as well. I put in new fluid in the tranny, and it was all good.

Now im having trouble with the shifter? It feels real tight now, like it's against rubber everywhere, it's hard to move around, and also since it has a mushy feel, it's hard to get into gear as well.

I don't have much info on cables, and searching didn't help much, well it did, people had the same problem, but the threads started about 2 years ago with no one replying in them LOL.

Anyways, i definitley know it's not the tranny, and im hoping there's a fix to this shifter unit and/or the shifter cables themselves.

ANY help will be appreciated, thanks guys.
